Internationalisation of administrative staff, at last!

SUCTI (Systemic University Change towards Internationalisation) is the internationalisation at home response for administrative staff. While most internationalisation efforts have targeted students and professors, the SUCTI project aims at empowering the backbone of universities: its administrative staff.

Partners of the SUCTI project, coordinated by the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, will develop and run internationalisation trainings for administrative staff at their institutions. Moreover, the partnership will organize a seminar for the staff members from the partner institutions who will be trained in delivering the internationalisation trainings for administrative staff in order to ensure sustainability and further dissemination of the SUCTI trainings across institutions.

Apart from higher education institutions, the partnership includes also the Europe-wide platform EAIE, the leading Italian expert organisation Centre for Higher Education Internationalisation and, finally, CHE Prague responsible of the impact assessment of the internationalisation trainings on participants. The assessment tool is based on the memo© methodology, which will allow for analysis of the long-term impact on participants’ personality traits that are strongly related to internationalisation.

The final conference of the project will be held in summer 2019 in Tarragona. The project is funded by the Erasmus+ programme.
